KolibriOS as Kernel for Application

Hello,
First of all, sorry, if I placed this on the wrong section, but I do not known, where to post it in the right place.
Years ago I get known „KolibriOS“ and was fascinated about it hardware requirement and speed. Right now, I was on the search for stay alive with good old programs but most actual units are only UEFI capable and no longer do have support for required BIOSes and IRQ based OSes like pure DOS.
I figured out, that there is a DOSBox port on Kilobri and, most important, that it was managed to boot from UEFI… yeah, sounded like a working way as a solution… I downloaded the UEFI Image and stored it onto a STICK… an was surprised, that my unit boot it without any problem… but strange, the required DOSBox is shown within its menu but with a star and is not starting or running… argh… Did I do anything wrong?
My idea is, to bring up an old DOS based application suite up to life… it would be great, if KolibriOS can handle this… my dream was, that Kolibri could work as its own kernel, doing all the base functions and the applications are working on top on it… this would bring office abilities and much more to KolibriOS. Now, one of our member bought the Source of this programs and bring them ip to the public… no idea, if this would be a way to combine each other… but anyhow, DOSBox, specially DOSBox-X or much more better DOSEMU2 or maybe BOCH directly will be a good basement for that too.
Does anyone can help on how I can be able to start DOSBox under KolibriOS?
Any suggestion and/or help are welcome.
I would only need the kernel booting and jumping direct into DOSBox… hopefully with a working sound and network access (which could be a dream for the first steps).
Kind Regards
