KolibriOS 0.7.7 with VirtualBox - painting problems [SOLVED]

Hello,

KolibriOS (downloaded from main page as CD image) has some graphics problems on VirtualBox 3.1.4 @ Ubuntu 9.10 x86 (see attachment).

It's the same for desktop right-click menu, calendar or main menu items. Also, I can't see any launched applications (if they were launched).

Changing resolutions didn't helped. VRR (whatever it does) toggling - also nothing.

P.S. By the way, this OS looks really neat (well, at least from screenshots :) ). It would be nice to contribute to it at free time, if any...

You set too little memory for the Kolibri. With 8 Mb not possible use background or run any additional programs.

Yes, I just found it out just yet.

It was interesting later to increase memory bit by bit. For example, background appeared with 11MB, and Animage needs ~19MB.

I now tried to use the kpack.exe to pack the kernel.mnt file i compiler, it's now almost the same size, 67.2Kb. I then copied this file into the kolibri.img file, overwriting the existing kernel.mnt. Then used ImgBurn and made a bootable .iso from the modified kolibri.img file.

Use kerpack to pack kernel.mnt.
