Hypervisor?

Post here questions, problems and suggestions in English language
  • Kolibri OS is not Linux.
  • What would be required to port Xen or Virtualbox to run on KolibriOs?

  • I really do not understand the meaning of your question - on the site (your link) says:
The Xen Live CD is actually a Debian Lenny 5.0.
You can tell more about your idea?

Perhaps it is take many Linux libraries.
I do not write programs in C and C + + and I can not say more accurate.
Probably it's not easy to answer - porting of programs is not the easiest business.
  • If KolibriOs can run a hypervisor (Xen or Virtualbox would be nice... a KolibriOs hypervisor if possible, would be better).
It would be possible to run any Os (even possibly Windows...) that could be virtualized.
With all of the advantages of KolibriOs this could be very powerful stuff.

  • As far as i know, hardware virtualization requires long mode (64bit) for host. And KolibriOS works totally in 32. So, the idea of assembler OS as a hypervisor is really cute but the Kolibri is not enough prepared (and too outdated, maybe)... I really don't know if it's possible to write a good hypervisor based on nowadays KOS.
