Re: Still regression in „shutdown” module
Well, ACPI shutdown requires ACPI support which I've been struggling with for years. Unfortunately, I can't provide you with any estimation when this work is going to be finished. I have already missed my previous estimation for years. I forgot to point your attention: actually it's probably not ab...

Re: Can't get KolibriOS to work on 386
Why not make the assembler code of the OS multi-CPU compatible and thus multi-target capable? Aren't there assemblers available that allow to use different subprograms to build the binary code depending on the CPU processor used? With such an assembler, you could replace these Pentium assembler ins...

Re: Still regression in „shutdown” module
This must be something more serious than I thought initially; the iso I was trying at that time and I remember as having working shutdown, should be svn9066-iso.7z. But now it doesn't shutdown/reboot my computer. Then I tested the following images: svn8500-img.7z svn8761-img.7z svn9046-iso.7z svn909...

Still regression in „shutdown” module
Guys, it is more than two years since „shutdown” module has been broken — and still not fixed until today! It was working before beginning August of 2021! I repeat my report, now (more than) two years old: 1. If I try to select any of "Kernel / Reboot / Power off" by pressing Home / Enter ...

"Shutdown" module still flawed (just tested the newest ISO image).

Re: [bugreport] USB keyboard not "visible" to Kolibri (Asus A7V600-X)
OK, with the newest ISO (just downloaded) there is small step ahead taken — I mean it acts now the same way be it keyboard and mouse — but still it doesn't get past grayish background picture, acting as the OS was frozen.

Re: [bugreport] USB keyboard not "visible" to Kolibri (Asus A7V600-X)
Sorry for my late answer — I was on my short trip. I didn't get to do it before I left, but as I'm back I tested newest ISO first (just downloaded). It seems the keyboard and mouse (both connected via USB) now are working OK, no need to replug (well at least on my ASUS board; didn't check ASRock yet...

Re: [bugreport] USB keyboard not "visible" to Kolibri (Asus A7V600-X)
Unfortunately, there is a serious problem: that particular board has no support for booting from USB-stick even in its latest BIOS (#1009, which of course I use). I did several attempts using a few Linux distros and the best result I was able to achieve was pendrive recognition followed by "Boo...

Re: [bugreport] USB keyboard not "visible" to Kolibri (Asus A7V600-X)
Hi, Zbiggy Did you try different ports? (I think you did, just asking). Of course; I'm aware sometimes the port may be a little faulty. But no difference -- the keyboard always acts as if it wasn't connected. Did you try http://builds.kolibrios.org/eng/latest-raw.7z ? No, I always use ISO image; in...

[bugreport] USB keyboard not "visible" to Kolibri (Asus A7V600-X)
Tested newest ISO (just downloaded) on Asus A7V600-X motherboard fitted with AthlonXP processor, and I met the same problem like in the case of already reported (almost a year ago) ASRock K7S8XE: Kolibri seems to be working just fine — but it won't use the keyboard connected via USB port neither USB...

Yes, I was aware it sometimes can help in such circumstances; not this time, unfortunately. It didn't help.

[bugreport] USB keyboard not "visible" to Kolibri (ASRock K7S8XE)
Tested newest ISO from 21. September on ASRock K7S8XE motherboard fitted with AthlonXP processor. Kolibri seems to be working just fine — but it won't use the keyboard connected via USB port. I also tested Kolibri on different ASRock mobo — it was K7Upgrade-600 — and on that one there wasn't any pro...

Re: How you can install KolibriOS on Hard Disk
I was trying to show you weaker parts of your instruction - well it seems, instead of make it better, you prefer to argue instead. "by using Linux's "fdisk/cfdisk" - or FreeDOS' "FDISK""... what? I'm using Windows So add "or Windows' manage HDD tool" (or whate...
