I haven't left the earth yet. Working on a web browser. Lots to learn, kinda gave up on konquer, just too dependent on kde, webkit and qt, firefox is some better but it also depends a lot on xul and xpcom. I want to use a lot of kolibris code. Have seperated the html parser from the code base, still...

Well, The QT part is basically a UI for KonqEmbedded. It provides a Ui much like the graphics in Kolibri. The khtml engine can pretty much be seperated out and use the Kolibri functions instead. Maybe I should rephase it :-) I have the gpl c source code for a full blown linux web browser. It only needs to be ported to Kolibri. I am not into c code, so wouldn't know where to start. If I had a c comliler that could emit assembly code with the c source and comments carried thru then maybe. Royce

I can see that tiny pad can switch encodings for the text. Inot sure which encodings to use tho :-) ." But Far2 can use any encoding installed for IE and allows choose it via Shift+F8. If you don't prefer Tinypad, download and install Far2 or use any other program which can use not only system ...

WOW, I had no idea that all the gobbly gook was a language different from Russian.I guess I just assumed it was. Looks like it will take some time to make all the translations. I downloaded all the files mentioned by Freeman I still have to learn how to use FAR2. Throw out Firefox, use Opera. :lol: ...
