What information I should provide for debugging? 1. For both BIOS and UEFI modes: board logs (photos are ok, it's better to take a photo of a log file opened in KFAR, not the small windows of BOARD), photos of PCIDEV app. 2. If you can switch your SATA controller to IDE (legacy, compatible) mode: c...

В связи с этим, возник вопрос: есть ли в KolibriOS поддержка AVX-512?

It was implemented in the kernel. There is still some work left in drivers. Please, report any issues with AVX*.

rgimad, thank you for the driver! It works on my Acer and HP laptops.

I didn't test its speed and under high load but basic operations work.

You can edit contents of .img files even without booting KolibriOS. Use mount on Linux(R) and Winimage on Windows(R).
If you find it more convenient to edit files from KolibriOS and then save resulting image, use RDSAVE program (its icon is on the desktop).

You hardly expected anything except 'looks great, why not', so here it is. Looks great, why not. It is a common practice for mature systems to have such a syscall. And its implementation seems to be quite compact. It is probably the best we can do without being crypto experts. I could cover your imp...

The author of the video does KolibriOS equivalent of `sudo rm -rf /` and then wonders why the system can't work as before. If the kernel misbehaves because of userspace activity, that's the kernel's issue. If a program misbehaves, that's the program's issue. If a user removes system files and thus b...

Congratulations!

How many years did it take to publish this MVP?
How many side projects did you have to implement to actually start working on SSH protocol itself?

What is the right way to send ACPI commands?
The right way to send ACPI commands is to communicate them to AML interpreter in the kernel. But there is no AML interpreter in the kernel.

APM is an old technology that may be missing in your hardware and is probably replaced with ACPI.
ACPI support in KolibriOS is limited with reboot and shutdown code. KolibriOS is not able to do power management at the moment.
