Does the blue screen (text mode) with options load?
What happens after this screen? (Eg, system reboots, screen becomes black and stays black, white text appears on black screen, ..)
If white text appears, what is the last line you see (picture might help as well)
In this case, also try to enable option 'print debug info to the screen' and make a picture and post it here.
