I'm just guessing, but does kolibri,

use alot less power that other OS's and therefore extend battery life in tablets,phone,netbooks?

boot so quickly, it's world's faster that other mainstream OS's

just try it yourself. It boots really fast and as with specially made programs for C64 there is much power in even considerd old hardware. Of course, it is really hard to code and everything takes quite some time, but the resulting apps are really quick and a joy! There is not the great amount of money behind this project and many programmers here use there sparetime,but it is impressiv what they realized so far!
