Been looking for a usb bootable OS for this broken down netbook. Basically all I need it to do is get to the internet cause I'm giving the netbook to this homeless girl I know who was a friend from highschool. Just needs to be able to go online in starbucks to look for jobs/homeless programs/bus schedules.

Probably this is not the OS for this task. Use some ultra light Linux distribution. Puppy Linux is the proper choice here.

Kolibri isn't a sort of "Windows
(TM) for jobless
(R)"
And will never be one.

I wonder what force you to think Kolibri is a sort of "Windows
(TM) for jobless
(R)" ?
Hey, did you knew, there's no info about networking in Kolibri at any our sites? He can't read russian topics, keep it in mind
