How to create and mount an "save disc image" under QEMU? It´s impossible to save file to ramdisk and found it there after reboot, so I need some "save disc image".
Consider I´m using graphical frontend qgui for QEMU.

Kolibri has no proper means for handling non formatted media include floppy disks, hard drives, flash drives.
You can use a DOS boot disk- utilities fdisk and format.

Hmm. Try to add virtual hard disk as
Code: Select all
-hda fat:///path_to_some_existing_folder/
You should try to save RD to this "virtual" hard disk. RD file can be found in folder on your host-machine.
Also you can mount REAL hard disk to save RD, but it's VERY VERY dangerous until you don't know what are you doing.

Author asked how to save changes that he made during work in qemu. Google for "-monitor stdio" and "commit".
