I rework gallery. About 50% of new functionality is completed. For now was implemented:

• new design
• slide changes much more faster
• now it works fine in Internet Explorer 7/8/9

Please find below my reactions while reading:

1) Home page: a large English banner is weird on a French page. I propose a text like "We are working on a French version of KolibriOS, coming soon!" -> French: "Nous travaillons à la version française de KolibriOS, et c'est pour bientôt !".

1bis) By the way, you are missing a letter on the Spanish banner: Dispnible -> Disponible

2) Bottom of the 3 pages: the tag "KilibriOS Team" (translated "l'équipe KolibriOS") is missing.

3) Download page: the dates show up with non-French texts ("28 апр 2013" - Russian?). If you cannot locate your date generation in French, you may use the numeric format DD/MM/YYYY.

For the rest, it seems all fine.

If it is not too late for a change, I was not happy with the last sentence including "fork" (untranslated) and "schisme" (too religious).

Would you please consider replacing:
"KolibriOS est issu d'un "fork" (schisme) de MenuetOS en 2004, et depuis lors il est développé en toute indépendance."
By
"KolibriOS a été lancé en 2004 basé sur le code de MenuetOS ; depuis lors il est développé en toute indépendance."

I see no commits on SVN depended to French translation.
If it's true, please:
1. make special topic related to translation Kolibri to French.
2. get SVN account

That's temporary. On prod will be used English name of months.

I am working on it, but you are right: you should not warmly warn about it since I cannot commit on a delay.
I'll be back to you when ready.

For the French banner, you could just keep the standard Facebook banner but in French:

"We got closer." -> French: "On progresse !"
"Follow us on Facebook!" French: "Suivez-nous sur Facebook (en anglais)."

Why not displaying digits for the month?
Otherwise ok, English names are still understandable for French-only speakers.

This will take too much time and profit will be too less. Maybe banner will be translated later.

I compared the current "Screenshots" page (on official website) with the new one (on aspero.pro website). To be honest, I like the current design much more:
1) The current design is uniform with other pages (Downloads, Main Page), while the new design is not.
2) Current design has all the headers and footers as on other pages - new design looks like a tool deployed on website, it doesn't look very organic on the website.
Isn't it possible to keep the current design, and improve it without changing the layout/look and feel? Actually, I don't see any disadvantages in current design of "Screenshots" page that requires moving to new design. But of course, if everyone else likes the new design more, then I don't mind

You don't need to translate ALL the OS at once. In fact, I don't think you will be ever able to do this. Just translate one program/game at a time, or kernel boot messages first, and then kernel error messages, and then kernel debug messages, etc. You can commit to SVN a few translations each time - no need to wait till you translate everything. This way, your job would be easier because you split it into a lot of small chunks, and French users would be able to test the completed parts while you translate other parts (so no need to wait till everything is translated).

Digits for the month are easier to work with, I agree. There is one small disadvantage - in some countries the month digits come first and day digits come second, so if you see 10/5/2013, you don't know whether it's 10th of May, or 5th of October. When the month is written with month name, you are sure what is the correct date.

Я получил срочный заказ на вёрстку (это помимо основной работы), потому буду занят как минимум до вторника.

По поводу дизайна, сейчас я предполагаю, что концепция поидее будет следующей:
1. на http://kolibrios.org/en/screen будет использоваться шаблон с остальных страниц - чуток сероватый фон на странице и белый фон для контента (+), соответственно есть футер-копирайт (+)
2. эта страница будет содержать список альбомов, вроде (0.7.7.0, nightbuilds, history, user modifications...). Альбомы будут выглядеть как-то так http://vk.com/albums-48924138, ничего особенного.
3. при нажатии на альбом открывается
- или поп-ап, при этом фон затеняется, ободок белый
- или происходит редирект на страницу альбома. Тут можно сделать кнопку меняющую тему (цвет) оформления.
В случае поп-апа меню будет под ним - экономится место (+) при редайректе пока ещё не знаю - скрывать меню не комильфо.
4. в попапе скрин, который подстраивается под размеры экрана (+). Причём, если скрин больше экрана, то он должен уменьшаться, если скрин МЕНЬШЕ экрана, то просто выводится по центру.
5. миниатюры будут прикреплены к низу экрана и будут скрываться, как сейчас - оставляя только описание для экономии места на небольших экранах (мой с Димой ноутбук и всякие нетбуки) (+)
6. Скорее всего, будут кнопки </> по бокам от скрина.
