On my newer computer, its a 1024x768 32bit and when I use mode 3 (1024x768) it says warning change to 1024x768 and notihng else loads, yet when I do mode 4 12??Xlarger (whatever it is exactly) I get the same warning yet the desktop loads and I can run programs and such. Any idea how I can get it to work with mode 3?

Please ensure that [c] option ("Use VRR") is off and try again. VRR is used to increase display frequency by reducing screen resolution and may not work correctly in all the cases.
