Newbie - Word Processor/Office programs

Post here questions, problems and suggestions in English language
  • I'm sorry. I'm afraid it won't work in KolibriOS to port this. But don't worry. There are 2 text editors in KolibriOS. CodeEdit and TinyPad. They are updated periodically. Also, in KolibriOS, you can view RTF and make tables, although simpler than in Excel, but still. Learn assembly language. So you can write great demoscenes, programs and games. You know English, it's easier for you. I only know Russian and therefore, a lot of documentation is not available to me. But if you are going to make programs, contact me. I'll help you translate. Good luck!

I just discovered Kolibri on thishositingrocks. I love what your are trying to do! Is there any way you can port a cross-platform word processor like OpenOffice, LibreOffice, or Abiword? I know there are others. A pdf viewer would be also wonderful!

I have read this is a hobby project. You are doing amazing work, and I hate to even ask.

Thank you so much for all you are doing! :D
Would a built-in PDF export function in the word processor meet your needs, or do you want separate PDF viewing?

I appreciate the insights shared in this discussion about integrating Word Processor and Office programs within the KolibriOS ecosystem. As someone who has navigated similar challenges in optimizing lightweight applications for performance on older hardware, I find it fascinating how community-driven solutions can revitalize such systems. The mention of compatibility and user-friendly interfaces is particularly relevant given the unique needs of users who rely on these tools daily.
