If 8168 causes problem in Linux, e.g.,

perhaps not surprizing similar problem(s) are seen in KolibriOS?

Yes the RTL8169 driver has been based on r8169.c from linux.

I have only one RTL8168 card (PCI express) but I have no motherboard with PCI express available at the moment for testing.
Sorry guys :)

SVN r5365: ASRock Q2900-ITX (SoC Intel Pentium J2900)
Realtek RTL8168 PCIe Gigabit Ethernet - it doesn't work in KolibriOS, and also stops working in Windows 7 after warm reboot from KolibriOS (cold reboot is necessary to get it working in Windows 7 again).
Opened a Mantis bug as requested, and attached all info there: http://bugs.kolibrios.org/view.php?id=91

yogev_ezra « Fri Jan 09, 2015 10:57 pm » hidnplayr: How?
hidnplayr « Fri Jan 09, 2015 10:58 pm » (is it connected to the local network with your other computer?)
yogev_ezra « Fri Jan 09, 2015 10:58 pm » hidnplayr: It's connected to the home router, yes. Now sitting from the same computer on Windows 7 - DHCP received fine.
hidnplayr « Fri Jan 09, 2015 10:59 pm » yogev_ezra: If you ping an unexisting IP address on that LAN (from your windows computer), the KolibriOS computer should see the ARP packet on the LAN
yogev_ezra « Fri Jan 09, 2015 11:00 pm » hidnplayr: But how exactly do I capture that?
hidnplayr « Fri Jan 09, 2015 11:01 pm » yogev_ezra: You will see an increment in netstat for received ARP packets
hidnplayr « Fri Jan 09, 2015 11:01 pm » now, total received (ethernet) packets is 0
Tried also the PING test for around 5 minutes - 0 ARP packets received. 6 ARP packets appear sent (but that was without the PING test even).
Copy of the board log with DEBUG turned on for RTL8169 network driver is attached here as well.

yogev_ezra: thanks for a detailed report.

All other users with RTL8111/8168/8169, if you have two minutes time, can you check if the same applies to your card or not.
Please post this information here, together with PCI id's of the card (vendor id, device id and revision are enough)
This information can be obtained in NETCFG and PCIDEV programs in kolibri, "lspci -n" in linux, and even device manager in windows.

Please try again with attached driver, and post boardlog.txt if crash still occcurs.

Spoiler: Show
Kernel tries to copy data section of UDP packet from kernel to userland, but fails and generates pagefault.
(Address of UDP packet data seems dodgy)

So the crash does not occur with debug kernel?
This makes me believe the problem is a sort of race condition.
Give me some time to explore the possible code paths that lead to this problem.
