(newbie) HD Install?

Running 0.7.7.0 on a MacBook under VirtualBox

Is there a way of installing it on to the 1GB drive I created or does it only run from the live CD?

You can install it on USB stick, CompactFlash card or SD card. You can also install it on hard disk if you have no Operating System at all on your computer, or if you have Windows. Does your MacBook have Windows or MacOS? And the 1GB drive - is it a partition on hard disk or what?
