me and a friend are going to comvert links web browser to assembly code and compile it

Why don't you just compile it using C compiler? you'll have to rewrite only network subsystem.

Why not? It's much better than 0.7.5.0 version. The version you use is outdated and developing applications for it is a waste of time.
