  • For some time now, there has been a module that automatically load the correct sound driver. (So there is no need to rename sis.sys to sound.sys)

Can you please do the following:
Boot from the latest nightbuild (builds.kolibrios.org) with NO changes made to the image.
    Open debug board application
Attempt to play audio (by using ac97snd/fplay/...)
Copy /rd/1/boardlog.txt to floppy/usb/pasta/... and attach it here.

    Thanks in advance.

Detecting Hardware y en seguida Sound Service not loaded y Sound Service not installed ( ver captura de pantalla old4.jpg )

  • Ok, thanks for the report so far, but to help you, we really need boardlog.txt (a screenshot from debug board does not show all information.)

  • It looks like a problem with the driver.
Unfortunately, this is not my area of expertise, and to make matters worse, I do not have such a soundcard to reproduce the problems/fix the driver.
Whoever might want to fix this later should find enough info here to start troubleshooting I guess.

    Give it some time :)
