FASM

Are there any advantages of using FASM over other assemblers?
Fasm is
1) smaller and
2) faster than most of other x86 assemblers of similar functionality.
3) It is a freeware with
4) an open-source code.
5) It has a simplified and constraited intel syntax with
6) a powerful and clever preprocessor.
Kolibri applications may be developed using a range of assemblers and higher-level programming languages, but the essential point is
7) fasm remains the only language ported to Kolibri and able to work inside KOS.

If other assemblers were able to work inside KOS, would there be any that are arguably better than FASM? Would there be any advantages of other assemblers over FASM?
