Kolibrios Parallels desktop on MAC

Drivers for network cards
  • There are several possible causes it seems.
Can you connect to the internet in MAC OS when VM is running? If not, check this: http://kb.parallels.com/en/112932
If that works but there is no internet in Kolibri, there might be something wrong on the kolibri side.
Check if netcfg program detects the virtual network card. If all looks good, check in netstat if the driver loaded ok and ipv4 settings are correct.

  • i can get the internet when i use TinyCore (10mb version)
  • The adapter shown (with PC id 1AF4-1000) is a virtio network device, it is not supported.
Check parallels network settings if you can switch to another virtual adapter (such as intel 8254x for example)
