imtel 2d acceleration

hi guys,i am very interested in intel i915 driver. it seems that the kolibrios library does not include driver specify acceleration function and things such as GEM create,execute etc operation,though the open source mesa3d has these details,but a huge work to understanding its mechanics for me ,any ideas or document gives a brief view of it,thxs!!
