OS for MacBook too old to run OS X 10.6

  Hello, I am a casual passer by with a curious question.
  
  I have access to a 7 year old MacBook that can no longer be updated with OS X. How would I go about installing KolibriOS ?
  The intent would be to make it primarily a net browser. Only basic apps and a file system would otherwise be needed.
