Hello,
I have started kolibriOS on my PC (start via grub bootloader). Impressive.
Can I make a setup for my QWERTZ-keyboard (german) ? How?
How can I go into the internet? which setup should I make in kolibri? here is my linux setup for going into the internet: http://imagebin.org/248011
my card is a Realtek RTL-8139/8139C/8139C packets seems to go through according the network status. I gave the DNS network configuration 192.168.178.1 but when I give http:///www.google.com nothing appear in the http browser..
Any help is welcome.

KolibriOS has a german keymap, you can set it from the setup program. Right click on the desktop, device setup.
For the network to work, you have to set IP, gateway, subnet etc too from the stackcfg program.
The program zeroconf may be able to set it automatically for you. (DHCP)

Alt+4 - German keyboard
keyboard DE works fine. Thanks.
for the network: still no success (zero_config dont make it working; nether fix config).
Could I receive a full setup recommendation according my linux setup I posted in imagebin ?
Im having an issue in the setup of background; according the config.txt
=====
1. Desktop background.
a) Replace in the file autorun.dat (it is text file) the parameter for
the program kiv ("\S__background.jpg") the name of file to the full
Kolibri-path to JPEG-, BMP-, GIF- or PNG-image which you like. It will be
new background. background.jpg now can be deleted.
=====
I started the (hd1,1) /kolibrioriginalfiles/kolibri.img from grub
I changed the Autorun.dat parameter to "\S__/hd1/1/birdy.jpg"
And made a new img backup to /hd1/1/kolibrik6amd/kolibri.img
At next boot, the "birdy.jpg" is coming to the screen, the mouse pointer is there but no control at all (icons are gone etc.)
Any idea what has to be done is welcome.

When I change the system language to english, the keyboard to german (and create a new img), only the system language is again in english. The keyboard setup in german is gone. Is there a workaround?

Do you use version 0.7.7.0 or the latest night build? If you use 0.7.7.0, then please try the latest night build, it has a lot of things fixed. Realtek network adapter at least should work in the night build I think.
The screenshot you give does not give all details about your network connection.
Could you give us the output of ifconfig on your linux setup?
To save the system settings for next reboot, you need to save the contents of the ramdisk back to kolibri.img, you can do this by using the RDSAVE program

in the latest build dated Feb 26, 2013, the RDsave dont work (no accessibility in the field 4 for changing it; by mouse pointer or by F4 or by 4 and the RDsave windows cannot be closed by putting the mouse pointer on the "X" of the window).yogev_ezra wrote:Do you use version 0.7.7.0 or the latest night build? So, I cannot save a new background and my german keyboard.
internet works in the last build dated Feb 26, 2013, via zero_config and text-browser. good.

well, there you have it.

And the DNS you already knew, 192.168.178.1
Set these values manually in stackcfg and you are ready to go!

After I click on the field "select" in RDSave, the windows stay frozen (it cannot be closed).
When I move it, it stay on the screen (it dont move but it stay copied). After I do it 2 times, the PC freeze (CPU indicate 100% load).
So, RDSave don't work for my PC in the last build.
Is it a bug or a PC specific issue?

Perhaps this is your PC specific issue. I have everything working on real computers and Qemu (excluding writing to a "physical" floppy).
Perhaps your ISO or IMG corrupted during download from the net. You can try to download them again.
You can run BOARD before RDSAVE, switch to kernel messages and take a picture screen BOARD, after RDSAVE window frozen?
Are there any problems with run: KFAR, KFM, Eolite?
