When clicking a button in any application and then moving the mouse-cursor over an adjacent icon on the desktop, that icon gets selected.
When releasing the mouse-button while still over that icon, the corresponding application might even start.
Likewise, when dragging the mousecursor over the desktop, after a right-click in the application, a contextual menu appears when releasing the mouse-button, even if released inside the application window.
I think button tracking should inhibit actions outside the application window, and that includes the desktop.
Is this easy to fix?
