It means that the Vendor id is 1106 (Via)
And the device id is 3106 (Rhine III network adapter)

I do not personally own a Via Rhine III adapter, but I know somebody who does, who has started to work on the network driver for it..

Good news hidnplayr! I have VIA Rhine II Fast Ethernet adapter, may be that driver would support it too.

I have VIA Rhine 3 card. So it'll be very good if such driver can be implemented. I'll be very, very happy!

With only a couple of years delay, I have finally made a working version of the VIA Rhine driver.

Надеюсь на скорое включение моего девайса в ряды поддерживаемых)).

Основная проблема включения девайса, это найти на него спецификацию, так что можно куданить копировать вендор и девайс со спеками в очередь. Для работы сетевухи достаточно ей буфер подготовить и включить её с установкой обработчика, ну и для отправки пакетов функцию, а остальное в ядре всё есть.

I have just tested your driver on my Rhine III, exactly 1106:3106 - it works fine!
So I think, this device can be considered supported.

Проверил драйвер на карточке Via Rhine III, VID 1106 device ID 3106 - работает отлично. Думаю, этот девайс уже можно считать поддерживаемым.

Is there is any list of supported cards in Kolibri trunk and new stack? Also is there is any "readme" of your work? What's done new in new stack branch, what aims for you, new API's etc?

Are you planning to support any other protocols over Ethernet than PPPoE and IP?
Personally, I am interested in LLC sockets.

I dont have much interest in such protocols, at least not at the moment.
There are still a lot of other things to do for me..

Currently, the kernel does not have routing yet, but it is possible for you to write some LLC code in kernel and test it already.

Не нашел как настроить IP вручную для сети (роутер не назначает ip адрес, возможно не работает DHCP)
