Re: Newbie: How do you install to HD?

You may choose between:
- Simple booting from grub: http://wiki.kolibrios.org/Booting_from_GRUB
- A bootloader to load KolibriOS from grub: ftp://kolibrios.org/pub/bootloaders/trolly/kboot.7z

KolibriOS doesnt really have a native 'terminal' yet..

In font properties window, select a font wich has 'cyrilic' support (courier-new for example)
dont forget to actually set it to cyrillic too ..

Shurf: does DHCP work on other operating systems in Qemu ?
If so, there must be a bug in autodhcp

Re: Anti virus detects trojans in Kolibri 0.7.1.0 install

I dont believe it is actually a virus.

Btw, You dont need this .exe to test kolibrios on an emulator or on real hw, all you need is kolibri.img, the image of the floppy

good luck

Re: Programming Problem...

You may use irfanview (a free image viewer) to convert .raw images to other formats (bmp, jpeg, gif,.) and vice-versa.
http://www.irfanview.com/

You could also try to use libIMG to use formats like .bmp and .gif directly in your programs.

Re: PSX-Pad

The use of the other function is good, it isnt (wasnt) documented yet so i didnt knew it existed back then.
I personally dont see what a rewrite in C is good for.

good luck anyway :)

PSX-Pad

PSX-Pad is a program wich makes it possible to play games in KolibriOS using a PSX-Gamepad connected to your LPT port.

More info in the readme ;)

nanosleep

I'd need a kernel function to wait 100 microseconds.
So i want the kernel to do something else for 100uS and then return to my program, is it possible?

any help would be apreciated
