compaq lte 5300

So I booted into kolibri on my lte 5300 since it has no hdd but, the wiki says vesa 1.2 is disabled. How do I enable this? Also can any one here point me to a PCMCIA modem that is supported by kolibri so I can connect this laptop to the internet? Is the below modem supported? https://www.ebay.ca/itm...

kolibri on arm9

im assuming there isnt an easy way to get kolibri to work on the f1c100s chip set but if there is it would be pretty cool to be able to have a non overwelming gui for things lik this https://bbenchoff.github.io/pages/LinuxDevice.html.
