Re: FTP client
So I have changed the color theme to white-grey (hopefully it looks more pleasant now) and also filled up the extra space to some extent. Let me know if there are any issues. https://s12.postimg.org/jhtv6eegp/Screenshot_from_2016_09_28_22_34_46.png Looks gorgeous! Feedback: I think the blue color i...

Re: What is the difference between nasm and fasm?
You can get the current screen resolution using system function 14. You can get (a portion of) the screen pixels using system function 36 See http://websvn.kolibrios.org/filedetails.php?repname=Kolibri+OS&path=%2Fkernel%2Ftrunk%2Fdocs%2Fsysfuncs.txt hidnplayr , As it said in the documentation h...

Re: What is the difference between nasm and fasm?
I found it. Thank you very much. Does KolibriOS have print screen? Also, can I calculate the area for the image dimensions for print screen? (If it exists.) I'd like to do this for easy image export.

Re: What is the difference between nasm and fasm?
Thank you. That cleared up somethings. I downloaded the source code from the SVN. I found most example code and code that I could integrate into a project I want to do in KolibriOS. I am not aiming for commercial use. I am using Sasm (simple Open Source IDE for NASM, MASM, GAS and FASM assembler lan...

What is the difference between nasm and fasm?
I have lots of experience in high level programming languages like C, C++, Lua, Java, etc. ASM is very new to me and I kinda consider asm programmers to be the gods of the programming world! I would like to know the difference between nasm and fasm because I want to program with fasm on Kolibri OS, ...

Feedback:
I think the blue color is a bit too much on the eyes and there is too much extra space.
I like the gray-like blue buttons.

Are there any free templates for writing Fasm Applications?
Hello, I am wondering if there are any free templates that I can use to write an application. That is well commented. -Panels -Scroll bars -Menu bar -Menu -Buttons -Form fills -Tabs -Context menus -Sliders -Check boxes -Labels -etc This would greatly speed up program development. Sincerely, Zuto

Re: Finding Computer with correct hardware for KolibriOS?
I'm really interested in trying out KolibriOS, but I'm not sure the best way to find a computer that has hardware that KolibriOS supports. Just recently I got a Dell laptop and tried to install Debian on it but it failed due to not recognizing the network hardware. It's hard enough to install Linux...
Re: Wine?
There is a code that starts the program and loads it necessary library. There is even the beginnings of a client-server architecture. But one problem: to port at least the most necessary libraries, you need enough time and people. How does the porting process work? Is it just go between code? For i...
