The adapter shown (with PC id 1AF4-1000) is a virtio network device, it is not supported. i can get the internet when i use TinyCore (10mb version)

There are several possible causes it seems. Can you connect to the internet in MAC OS when VM is running? If not, check this: http://kb.parallels.com/en/112932 If that works but there is no internet in Kolibri, there might be something wrong on the kolibri side. Check if netcfg program detects the ...
