I know there has been debate about which is superior out of a microkernel and monolithic kernel.

Do any of you use Kolbiri as a "full time" operating system, meaning that you don't rely on any other OS? Is this possible to do with ease? Or is Kolibri simply used for intellectual stimulation?

Theoretically - yes. Practically - this would require too many efforts.

I used slitaz and firefox seemed to work more efficiently than in Windows. I wonder why this would not be the same with kolibri ..
