Re: fplay video performance is very slow, also no audio
Just wanted to let you know that I was able to compile the kernel using fasm and your instructions, very simple compared to other open source projects I have tried to compile using other tools like c++ where I often have trouble getting many dependencies and libraries working. Thanks. I was able to ...

Re: fplay video performance is very slow, also no audio
Thank you for your help with this dunkaist. The latest image works great. The only software that I could get to work in windows 10 to allow me to insert intel_hda.sys into kolibrios was winimage. I have another question: is is possible to change the mouse cursor? I think I found the cursor file in t...

Re: fplay video performance is very slow, also no audio
The delay is actually much longer than 0.64 seconds, more like about 5 seconds. I found that if I delete the devices.dat file but leave the new intel_hda.sys file then there is no more delay and the sound still works OK. Also I have another question, I tried changing the resolution in the config fil...

Ok here is what I did: Flashed your image to USB thumb drive. (BTW i could not get rawwrite32.exe to work on my computer, i got error "Could not access device! Make sure a medium is inserted and you have administrative privileges." even though I ran it as admin, so i used rufus instead whi...

Re: fplay video performance is very slow, also no audio
First I booted off of the USB thumb drive and tried your instructions, however after I ran acpi, when I tried to click on usbhd0 in any file browser, the file browser would freeze and I could not copy the log files. Then I booted off of a sata hdd and tried the same instructions. This time I was abl...

fplay video performance is very slow, also no audio
Hello, I am running kolibrios on a laptop, booting with a USB stick and attempting to play a video file with fplay, however the video playback is very slow and there is no sound. Also I cannot get any sound at all to play except with midamp and the built in file kuzkina.mid, but it appears to be pla...

Re: Is there any way to save boot setting "Add disks visible by BIOS"?
With this image it repeated the counting from "K : ### 1" to "K : ### 4" seven times and then it booted into kolibrios OK. I tried again with option [c] turned on and option [d] turned off so that it would display more text and recorded a video. I tried to attach the video to thi...

Re: Is there any way to save boot setting "Add disks visible by BIOS"?
Thank you for creating this. When I followed your instructions the boot menu appeared with the "Add disks visible by BIOS" setting set to on, unfortunately after the 3 second timeout the computer rebooted itself. I turned on option [c] and I saw some small text appear on the screen very qu...

Re: Is there any way to save boot setting "Add disks visible by BIOS"?
Thanks for your response.
I am booting off of a USB drive that I made bootable by using HD_Load\USB_Boot\inst.exe and HD_Load\USB_Boot\setmbr.exe and then I copied kolibri.img to the USB drive.
Is it not possible to save the boot options when using this method?

Is there any way to save boot setting "Add disks visible by BIOS"?
Is there any way to save the settings on the boot menu: [a] Videomode: Add disks visible by BIOS etc... I have kalibrios running on a laptop and it will not mount the HDD unless I turn the Add disks visible by BIOS to ON. But I must turn it on on every boot since it always resets to the default sett...
